Making our beer isn’t easy. But drinking it is.

Our barley is grown and harvested in our own fields, then proudly malted at Rabbit Hill Malt before it returns to the barn to make the base of our beer in our Peter Austin Brick Kettle Brewing System.

We prioritize sustainability through a zero-waste brewing process. The spent barley, grain, yeast, and hops are used as feed for our animals, and the wastewater irrigates our fields.

Our story

It’s a farm. A brewery. A place of legend and lore. Natural beauty, family fun and fresh, delicious beer.

The whole story starts way back in 1713, with the construction of the very same barn that we invite you to visit, drink in and relax in. Of course we’ve fixed it up some, but much of the wood and construction is original.

The next chapter in Needle Creek’s story begins with the Hart family, when John Hart signs the Declaration of Independence. While today, his great, great, great, great grandson runs John Hart Farms - the same family - growing and harvesting the barley for our beers. Allowing us to serve you right at the source.

And Needle Creek? Well, that’s the peaceful babbling brook you might find tucked away in the woods behind our barn.

The history is real. The nature is beautiful. The beer is pure - born on a farm. And our people are caring, dedicated and couldn’t be happier to invite you to bring friends and family, and come unwind at the creek with us. There’s always something new to discover.

The unanimous Declaration of Needle Creek Farm Brewery,

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for friends and family to dissolve their stresses and celebrate the powers of love, nature and good times, they should declare independence from worries, traffic, work and distraction, and instead drink beer made strictly by the Laws of Nature.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that not all beer is created equal, but great beer preserves our certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Needle Creek Brewery is instituted in the rolling countryside of Pennington, New Jersey.

We, therefore, the farmers, brewers, people and proprietors of Needle Creek Brewery, in a barn on tractors in silos and fermenters and taps, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Beer Gods of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of New England festively publish and declare, That this Brewery, is and ought to be built completely for you, the people. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of nature and the Providence of the bounty she creates for us, we mutually pledge to each other that families, friends, music, life and beer will always come together here for our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
